The Parsek Meal Tracking add-on records meals served on site or at a facility per employee and per meal. The cost is determined by the cost model you define for each location and meal, and at month end the month-end closing posts the amount to the branch expense ledger and the subcontracted staff’s share to the subcontractor’s account.
Keep the Meal List Off Paper
Canteen lists are often kept on paper or in a separate spreadsheet, and at month end it takes time to compare them with the supplier invoice and separate the subcontractor’s share. Meal Tracking keeps the record next to your employee list and calculates the cost with the same rules every month.
Key Features
Bulk Meal Entry
Pick a location and date; employees of that location are listed, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are ticked for each person and saved in one go. Future dates cannot be entered.
Cost Models
A model is defined for each location and meal: Site Canteen (monthly total cost) or External Supplier (supplier, price per meal, contract number). Models have start and end dates and can be activated or deactivated.
Unit Cost Calculation
For an external supplier the amount is number of meals × price per meal. For your own canteen the monthly amount entered is that month’s expense; the unit cost is shown as the amount divided by the number of meals that month.
Meal Reports
Pick a month to get a per-employee summary: breakfast, lunch, dinner and total meals per person.
Month-End Closing
The closing preview shows a breakdown by location × meal × model × unit × amount. "Ayı Kapat" posts the meal expense to the branch expense ledger and locks the month; only an administrator can reopen it, with a reason.
Subcontracted Staff
Meals of employees linked to a subcontractor are posted to the subcontractor’s account as a deduction instead of a branch expense; if the subcontractor has no account, the closing stops with a warning.
Catering Supplier Orders
Purchase orders of the supplier in the cost model are listed on the closing screen; an order flagged as a "meal order" is not added to the branch actuals again, so the expense is not counted twice.
Permissions and Location Scope
Bulk entry, cost models and reports are enabled with separate permissions. Branch users only see and enter records for their own locations; unit prices are visible only to users with cost-model permission. Meal records are written to the audit log.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can enter meal records?
Administrators can enter records for every location. Branch users enter bulk records and view reports only for the locations assigned to them; they cannot manage cost models or close the month. Custom roles get each permission separately.
What if there are two models for the same location and meal?
If more than one model is valid on the same day, the closing stops and lists the conflicting location/meal; amounts are not added together. Fix the dates of one model and run the closing again.
Can records be added to a closed month?
No. In a closed month meal records cannot be added or changed, and cost models affecting that month cannot be edited. An administrator can reopen the month with a reason; the branch expense is then removed and subcontractor account lines are closed with reversal entries.
Where do I see an employee’s monthly meals?
The Meal (Yemek) tab on the employee card shows that person’s monthly meal record; for all employees use the per-employee summary in Yemek Raporları.
Can it be used without the add-on?
No. Meal Tracking is an add-on; if it is not active the menu is hidden and the meal endpoints do not work.
